Under 15's Girls Reds 3
Katie Armstrong (1)
Saraya Bowzler (2)
Panshanger Panthers 1

we recorded our first victory of the season against Panshangers Panthers winning 3-1 goals from Katie Armstrong and a brace from Saraya Bowzler.
we started well and it wasn't long before Saraya Bowzler was racng through on goal only to be denied by some desperate defending.
but the striker wasn't to be denied when she raced clear and fired pass the helpless panthers keeper for 1-0.
in spell we played some excellent football which opened up the visitors we could have had a hat full but for desperate defending or some poor finishing we would have
Midway throught the half we extend our lead when Katie Armstrong fired home our second goal from just inside the box for 2-0.
Panthers to their credit kept battling away and had a few chances from some of their long throws. but some superb defending from Jasmine Patel and the ever improving Stacey Austin-Heitt kept the Panthers at bay with some brilliant interceptions and tackles.
but it was Saraya Bowlzer who extend our lead with her second of the match once again racing clear to slot home pass the keeper for 3-0;
second half the girls forgot to come out and this allowed the panthers to cawl a way into the game, creating a number of chances which they fail to take, we started to play again and soon created a number of chances only poor finishing some desperate defending prevented us extended our lead further.
but it was from on of these long throws that Panthers scored a well deserved goal though we could have clear the danger the ball falling to the visitors striker stab home from 2 yards out for 3-1l
both sides had chances to scored but the score remained the same and we recorded our first win; though we have played so much better and lost but it the result that matter today a victory is a victory after all'
i keep saying this week in week out but Jasmine Patel was awsome as usual at the back her defensive header in the second half was excellent her reading of th game was sheer class, and the pleasing factor Stacey Austin-Heitt is developing into a very useful player and today was player of the match
