I have been Chairman of the Club since 2002.
I have been involved in grass roots football since my son started playing football in 1994 and was involved with running and coaching his team.
The team was very successful, getting to 2 County Cup finals and winning various leagues and cups in the Watford Friendly League.
I now no longer have any children currently playing for the club.
I setup the Club Greenacres which had only two teams before approaching Hemel Youth and Hemel Hempstead Town Fc in 2001 to join
together to form Hemel Hempstead Town Youth Fc.
I started as Vice Chairman in 2001 before being asked to become Chairman in 2002.
I have been instrumental in gaining the FA Club Charter status in 2005 and FA Club Development status in 2007.
Over the years I have also been Club secretary and Club Welfare Officer.
Other involvements in football include a committee member of the senior club and a member of the Herts Coaches Association.
I take an active role in football and sports matters in the County and am an executive member of the Dacorum Sports Network.
In junior football, should all players be given the same amount of time on the pitch during a game, regardless of ability?
Yes, always. Getting kids involved is the most important thing.
Yes, unless it is an important game.
No. Winning is important at all ages, so the best players should play more often.
