A very entertaining game of football which was played on a first frozen but then boggy pitch with both teams battling hard in a very competetive match.
We started well but we could not turn our pressure into goals and we paid the price when the unlucky hannah put the ball into our own net from a knebworth corner. H/T 0-1
The 2nd half was much of the same with us dominating without taking our chances and once again knebworth took advantage to go 2-0 up.
The game then became more even as we pushed for a goal back which we eventually got from RACHAEL when she followed up her own penalty that the keeper had saved to make it 1-2.
The last 10 minutes became very exciting as we had some great chances but we could not get it past the excellent knebworth keeper and eventually we ran out of time to lose the game.Today was a much better performance and we probably deserved at least a draw.
Well done to amber who played really well in her 1st game today.
