Another match of what might have been!
Hemel completely dominated the 1st half of this game and should have been at least 2 up by half time. With some excellent play and good attacking football, Mia Burtt controlling the centre of midfield and Lydia Clark in the Hemel goal virtually untroubled they took the game to Bury from the start. But the opportunities to score were wasted by poor shooting or a failure to give a final pass at the crucial moments.

The 2nd half started evenly with Bury coming more into the game and putting pressure on the Hemel. Then in a surreal 10 minute spell Bury scored four times from four shots. The Hemel defence first failing to clear a loose ball and then allowing the Bury attackers far to much free space in the penalty area. Hemel continued to battle for a consolation but again wasted chances to put players through one on one with the Bury keeper.
